What Specific Results To Expect,…

With,….Exercise, Sports performance, Rehabilitation, Fat Loss….What’s Minimum!

With all the trainers, coaches, instructors, and various programs, how is it that fitness programs have ZERO STANDARDIZATION?

There are those programs that get Zero results, those that get slow, slow, results, and those you have to “just hope there maybe results!”

Why is it that programs vary so much with results? Because 99.999% of people selling programs are about MONEY, and EGO!

Why, because it’s about EGO, and MONEY!

It is almost always that the client gets the least benefits!

Standardization would require lots of schooling, which means lots of time, which means paying out money, and putting out effort!

People want everything now, today, immediately!

See, trainers want a professional sounding title, they want to make money! People wanting physical changes, want the results now, so they want to say they hired a “professional!” Everyone wants quick, fast, easy, and yesterday!

Why, “EGO!”

Ego on the part of the person taking the program, “ego” of them saying to themselves, o.k. I “like this program!” I’m going to the gym, I’m dieting, I have a trainer!  SAD HUH!

In reality these non-results getting individuals, have to JUSTIFY IN THEIR OWN HEAD, their continuing to pay for something they do not get, not even in part!  (their EGO needs acceptance, no matter what the truth is)

They are so insecure, they cannot face that they did something, that stupid!

But, the PROBLEM is, that most all individuals do very, very, little, to zero investigating into real physiological facts!

Most individuals are in “way to big of a hurry,” to get fat off and muscle up, and they must have it, NOW!

So, due to the “overwaiting, about overweighing,” most all use a feeling of “emotion to start” a program and “emotion to select” a program! NOTE: Using emotion is not logical nor factual! 

Most all coaches, instructors, and trainers all have an almost ZERO FACTUAL BASIS, for what they “teach others for their fee,” thus literally taking their MONEY!  

No, for sure most all or everyone of their applications, are at best  fraud, theft, lies,myths just wrong, wrong ,wrong!

Realize:

When a person exercises, they are stressing tissues, trying to trigger a positive increase, to increase physical performance! (either losing fat, gaining muscle, strength, speed ,etc.)

That means “if they have not previously taken in or consumed the right nutrients” they are harming their health, FACT! Yet the person who they paid more than 98% of the time is “NOT FACT BASED” and in most cases cannot, will not and does not test to prove measurable positive results!”

So, “get the actual physiological facts,” the correct applications, “check references,” “before” you start any program!

REALIZE THIS, this even includes “physical therapists,” WHO ALSO DO NOT GET TAUGHT HOW TO EAT “PRIOR TO THEIR EXERCISE” TO HAVE THE BODY RESPOND BETTER!

Imagine the physical therapist works with people who have had very bad health set-backs, yet they do not know how to “HELP THE BODY RESPOND BETTER, SO THEY ARE ADDING STRESS!”

So, find the BEST, of instruction before you start! Take time to research, do your homework!

SICKNESS, PAIN, AND SUFFERING…..

Caring for the  Sick, Hurting Ailing, Obese, and just plain Fat…

One would think or at least hope, that an individual “would not want to allow for or give a possibility to” any kind of sickness, disease, or even a condition like obesity to work in the slightest areas of their life. 

But in reality “most are so arrogant” in that they “feel” that they can, by some special process avoid the “payments” (repercussions) to be made after having severely abused their physical body. ( eating or consuming what is totally detrimental to any or all process’s )

Yet, with all the worldly knowledge, research, and warnings “individuals still persist and insist” on doing “what they want” at any given time!

Oh yes, I have been a firsthand witness to the arrogance, pride, and self-righteous line of this thinking or action again  and yet again! 

The wrong thinking of “well that was so and so, or that’s not going to happen to me,” etc, etc.

Our bodies are all “basically” the same. We are all a chemical, electrical, spiritual charged beings, that have very specific needs and requirements. We all need the very same things, we all just need differing amounts! 

The process’s that work within us are the same, yet arrogance reins through thinking “we” are going to “get away with” what will and does happen ( it is just a matter of time) Sorry, but facts are facts!

Our physical lives in a way are like a credit card or debit card. We have the right to CHARGE on it, “HOWEVER” the bill will come in, be delivered or better yet “become due and payable” without exception.

Again, when I say that the “most persistent attitude out there” is that of “extreme arrogance” that is exactly what it is. The attitude of “well I tried”,” and it didn’t work”, so “I give up”, or “they need to like me just the way I am,” or what ever other EXCUSE one desires to use.  

It is mainly about “my way”, and “now” and or any other CONVENIENT coping mechanism that people can come up with!

It is beyond time for us as  individuals to “stop the political correctness” which has done nothing but weaken our society!

 It is time for us to “call” these individuals who choose to “do these selfish, self centered, emotional charged wrong doings to their health” by their correct name,” STUPID!”

Let’s talk the truth here! “Anyone (yes, anyone) who makes choices by their emotional or physical “feelings” is certainly not rational, logical, intelligent or responsible! 

My personal view (based on my experience of more than forty years) is that because most will not openly and assertively address them, they get to thinking and feeling “licensed, permitted, accepted” to continue. They actually find a “comfort zone” in this action or if you prefer to call it “in action!”

When an individual starts down this path of “I’m too busy, I’m tired, I will later, etc, etc, etc they are in trouble with a “four letter word” LAZY or sloth! You can try to use other descriptions like irresponsible, unlearned, etc., etc., but the real bottom line or “motive” is self, or another “four letter word” lazy! They are selfish! It is about them!

So, do you truly love them….only if, yes IF, you call them out!

Don’t wait for the problems to start!

WHAT ARE YOU GETTING………IN REALITY?

It is especially important to know, that just because a particular program appears” to deliver fast, visible, external results, “does not mean” that it is correct or “healthful” on an internal basis.

Now, stop, re-read, and think!

“Everything” we take into our body or do with our body has a “positive or negative” result.

If you are involved in a program that cannot or does not use multiple tests to prove healthful results, it could be because they do not care about your health as much as their profits…..”what’s important to you”….HONESTLY?

If you are involved in an exercise, diet, or health program and are actively doing you’re prescribed part and you “are not measuring results,” it should be obvious that the program is imbalanced, and your body is unable to respond. It should be a simple deduction that it is causing more harm than good. It is simply unhealthful.

Total health can be maintained with nutrition, and time! Exercise if added, only decides the level of performance!

Note: Provided there is optimal balance, if not, exercise is only an added stressor.

NOTE: Because of the requirement for “time,” to accumulate and process materials (nutrition) to make reserves (which create the physical response), many people are in debt, in that “their body cannot adequately respond,” see and or actually measure a positive result.

To realize positive results, reserves must be adequately or fully ready” prior to the stressors, stimulus, or triggering from any source. If reserves are not adequately ready, then only debt, overdraw (unhealthful) or negative effects to the system can result.

Point in case is that if an individual is exercising and is not realizing (measuring) positive results, then the body is in an over draw or a stressed state” and is unable to adequately respond to the positive. It is imperative to realize that the internal workings create the external responses! No response means inadequate reserves.

Note: In order for exercise to be effective it must exceed the momentary state of ability or little or no stimulus or triggering for change will take place. In order for exercise to be efficient it must be as effective as possible, yet also take place in as brief of a time factor as possible. With these two factors are being met, exercise can then be as effective and efficient as possible!

There is no difference between someone who is at a level of a disease getting better, than an average athlete becoming better in performance. It is all human performance.

Everyone has the same basic physiological requirements; some just require more or less than others!

So, what are you getting? Is it due to improper or incomplete information, or that someone is selling you something ?

FOR MOST…..it’s a day of showing how much you can “lose it,” while you “gain it”…(”hahaha”)

FOR MOST……..IT’S  “PIG-OUT”

OR…..ITS EVERYONE ALLOWING …..”THEIR INNER PIG,”… OUT!

FACT, if an individual consumes their food slowly, chewing well (or taking enough time to actually “taste their food,) they will consume less for two reasons!

Simple considerations for people to “think about”….if they can (get out of their own crap)

One, by eating slowly, this will allow time for blood sugar to rise, helping to stop or slow the hunger!

After all, is it a holiday, a day to relax, and enjoy, or a day to show just how much, and how fast you can eat, or how to make an “ass” of one’s self?…….usually the later!

Two, by chewing well, food is broken down more quickly, allowing or assisting blood sugar to rise, helping to stop or slow the hunger!

IT’S  A  HOLIDAY = HOLY DAY………BUT, …NOT FOR MOST

NOT A ….”WHOLEY” SHIT DAY……WHERE YOU HAVE SHOWN YOUR,… “SELFISH ASS OFF DAY!”

Oh…..   when you have “way, way over-stuffed yourself,” and you are feeling like you need and anti-acid….WRONG!……..

YOUR poor stomach needs some “VINEGAR” (1 ½  – 2  TBLSP…. IN 2 0Z WATER) TO HELP DIGEST ALL THE EXCESS IN YOUR LABORING GUT…..TRY IT,… IT HELPS…..

Why we are “sick, diseased, broken,”

 

We are either in “conscious unity,” or we are in “conscious separation”….

Unity with our creator brings life, health, wellness…..protection

The scripture below tells the “WHOLE” of the reality we live in!

 

Hosea 4:6 King James Version (KJV)

6)  My people are destroyed “for lack of knowledge:” (our responsibility)

because “thou hast rejected knowledge,” I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me:

seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, “I will also forget thy children”

LACK OF KNOWLEDGE = THE WORD, not knowing it, seeing it, agreeing with it…..

Obviously when we are in “trouble,” being sick, diseased, broken, WE are NOT walking with or living in, “conscious unity!”

 

THOU HAS REJECTED KNOWLEDGE = WE have refused to live in or with agreement to what THE WORD STATES

Obviously, “WE are AGAINST the asking’s of our instructions

 

I WILL ALSO FORGET THY CHILDRENGOD hears not sinners, so it is “our causing” lack of their protection through our non-compliance (our sin)

This scripture clearly shows that “if we resume constant conscious unity with the creator,” we then walk back into grace and favor! This means healing “can now happenprovided we use what the physical body requires! Why Now…..”Because we are back in line or favor!

WE must read the PROVISIONS OF OUR INHERITANCE…..(the scriptures)

WE are given free will, which means free choice……

Frustration is quite “common to exercise enthusiasts, “when results don’t happen or are slow to be seen or tested!

When exercising,  being committed and consistent, and results are not happening, frustration is guaranteed! There are several major factors that “MUST BE CONSIDERED,” before positive, consistent results can take place!

Imagine, if most of these exercise enthusiasts not seeing results actually knew they were doing more damage than good?

Yes, most these of individuals are actually doing way more damage than good, when they are constantly going to the gym, pushing them-selves, and seeing little to no positive results! The term is “overtraining.” The underlying cause is actually under-consideration (lacking facts), and or under-preparation (lacking proper applications)!

Fact, when a person is steadily exercising (going to the gym), pushing them-selves, yet not seeing or measuring tested, proven, positive results, their body is not able to “adequately or positively respond” with increased muscle, strength, endurance, or increased performance!

NOTE: When “overtraining takes place, health is diminished!”

Why is the body not able to adequately respond?  It’s because the body has not received enough materials (nutrients), and  has not had enough time between exercise periods to “process the materials” for utilization! Additionally, the body may not have had enough time between workouts to actually do or allow repair the tissues!

So, response for added strength, endurance, or increased performance requires materials, processing, and repair time! 

Note, that when response is not positive or adequate, that if an individual “takes a day or two off” actually missing or skipping the stress of exercise, the body is usually stronger, responds better and faster! So, the most serious point here is this, when the body missed the stress of exercise by missing several days, the body was able to gather nutrients, process them, and then repair the tissues! This causes an almost immediate increase in physical performance, in most all areas!

Realizations

1 – exercise is a stress to the body

2 – recovery for results, requires adequate materials, time for processing and time for repair

3 – exercise or training without positive results is a sign of the body being unable to respond

4 – to avoid harming health, the requirements for positive response with exercise should be “first considered” before exercise

Remember, exercise is a stressor, and recovery considerations from materials and process cause the positive results!

EATING FEST… GETTING “WAISTED”… how to SURVIVE IT!
OR… THANKS-GIVING, is it REALLY?
No it isn’t at all “Thanksgiving,” it is about a reason, a justification, an excuse, to GORGE, STUFF, SWALLOW, CONSUME, EVERYTHING IN SIGHT! I call it the great partaking, or consume-fest! Thanksgiving from an outside view can actually appear as an “eat-a-thon,” a self will run riot event!
Thanksgiving is supposed to be a THANKS-, an actual GIVING OF THANKS! A time of consideration, appreciation, and a special time (day, hours etc.) to look back over the past months or year and be grateful!
Instead people tend to use this as an “event” to justify, to over do, and in many ways, like drinking, the obvious eating, and even more! It is used by many for a time to pick up the phone and see “where do I want to go,” and “what is my best option!”
It is not usually about, “who’s been really important in helping, assisting, caring,” but instead it is mostly about “the meal!” When in all reality, we should be thinking, seeing, realizing, appreciating those whose thoughts, efforts, and works have been caring for us, for our benefits, all the many times, through out the past day’s, weeks, months, or year!
Then there is the “way” people “eat” during this so called holiday, which is supposed to mean “HOLY- day!” Most eat in the most UNHEALTHFUL WAYS!
So it’s a day of Thanks-Giving, yet eating like, “there will never be another chance” to get or eat these foods again? Actually, way over eating, and in the most “unhealthful ways!” And it’s called “Thanks-Giving!”
SO in short, it’s called THANKS-GIVING, so we can “way over eat and way over drink” with some of the most “not so healthy foods” to “show our appreciation” of all that we have? There is something very wrong here, at least for many and they way this supposed holiday is celebrated…don’t ya think!
So I am going to publish some ways to enjoy this holiday eating, WITHOUT GAINING weight, IF…YES, IF the following is adhered to! Note: This plan is way, way more satiating and fulfilling IF actually done, it will surprise anyone with how satisfied they will be!
Happy Holiday with a less damaged waist line and better health to all, enjoy, Bert Seelman.

HOLIDAY MEAL SURVIVAL GUIDE….. without (massive fat gain)

THIS IS “MORE THAN ADEQUATE” FOR ENOUGH FOOD TO SATISFY!!!
This allows great satisfaction without the horrendous gains! (if your sane)
Holiday meal…..whether, lunch time or mid after noon
REMEMBER……This is not about an eating contest!
Note: the meal suggested is “more” then adequate “if” a person will chew well and consume the meal at a moderately slow pace. If this is done the person will experience a more than satisfied sensation and the rest of the day should be moderated to not consume a lot of “calorie dense “ foods, i.e. like dips, chips, and cheese’s etc.
HOLIDAY EATING… Remember, it’s a holiday, not an eating contest!
(this is how a holiday maybe better handled eating wise)
Am waking…..
Within 30m to 45 minutes have a small breakfast….
1-2 soft boiled or poached eggs
+ 1 whole grain toast or bread
+ 6-10 oz vegetable or V8 juice
Within 2- 2 ½ hrs MAX
Fresh fruit 1 piece (not juice)
or BEST = vegetable sticks or vegetable juice 6-12 oz,
plus a small protein portion 3-4 oz (chicken, fish, etc.)
This is when light snacking on “better choices pay off”
WITHIN – 2- 2 ½ hrs…. if not holiday meal next, then add a protein and vegetable snack
HOLIDAY MEAL… whether, lunch time or mid after noon
Person size –
Average size and slightly active — large size or very active
5 – 6 oz turkey or selected protein – 6 -10 oz
2/3 cup total starch…i.e. potato, yams, etc – ¾ – 1 cup
1/3 cup gravy (includes any butter or sauces) – same ¼ cup cranberry sauce – ¼ – ½ cup
1+ cup vegetables without sauces, i.e. non starchy, – 1- 1 ½ cups
Green beans, spinach, asparagus, etc (up to 2+ cups without sauces)
1 small roll (no butter or spreads)

Eating often, with better choices will prevent too high and too low blood sugar levels. Avoid stacking too much or too many foods together at eating times. Chew food thoroughly and allow time for the blood sugar to rise and alleviate hunger by satiation, this helps to prevent over eating.
Consume 1 gallon of water this day minimum.

Health, what is it, and do you “really” truly want to know? Most “think they want it,” many “say they want it,” however “very, very, few” actually seek it, and will move to it!                   ©copyright Bert Seelman 2013

Health is a state of being in which we are “operational” at an optimum level! This means the “whole three part man,” being spirit, physical, and mental. For instance when someone wants a “cure,” that word cure means to cause “relief,” or to “stop the pain” or to eliminate the “irritation or symptom.” Where “heal” means to “restore to the original”, or best operating condition, not just eliminate the symptom as in a cure. The word “health” comes from the word “heal” which is the first four letters of health.

Real health takes “efforts” of thoughts, with our desires, plus physical doings, about what is required in all three parts, spirit, physical body, and in mind! Wow, that in itself is just too much for most, “an effort!” How is it when someone says that “all areas have to be dealt with” that then the defense mechanisms go into “reactive protective” mode! Like saying, I don’t “believe in that,” or “that’s not so,” or “no way,” and any of hundreds of others. So let’s connect the dots of how it all flows together and becomes a “whole unit” of health! Maybe by looking into “what is” we can see how health is affected by everything!

Man is made alive by a “spirit” which is the “animating force” or an electrical charge or force. This force is operating at a certain strength or voltage if you will, and at a “vibrational frequency.” Too much or too little and the animating force is not working at the right level, so “dis-ease” or “unrest” at the cell level happens. If this force or electrical impulse leaves we are DEAD. If this force or electrical impulse is not optimal we are “dis-eased” or sick. Thoughts are “electrical impulses in our nervous system and can cause changes in the types or strengths of electrical flow. Good thoughts, equal good flow, bad thoughts uneven or bad and inconsistent flow. So our “thoughts good or bad” can actually cause nerve impulses which, are or can be a “stress” or dis-ease at the cell level. The spirit aspect is why medicine is not seeing and will never see the healing until this area is dealt with. There is way too much information to cover on this all here, so this will be another article.

Our physical body has certain “very specific requirements” for optimal function on a continuous basis. The certain needs or requirements are for our rebuilding, repair or maintaining our performance and functions internally and externally! We are “replaced” down to every cell in our body every sixteen months, and this allows us to make incredible positive or negative impact in our health! If a person truly wants to “make a change in their health” this is one place to start. So the physical body can literally replace or restore itself every sixteen months, so nothing is impossible to fix, restore, eliminate, or heal, if we are “truly willing” to make an effort early enough. This point is never even known or considered by most of the so called “health care professionals!”

The most difficult part of health is in the mental or mind aspect of humans! The spirit is the “life force” the body is the vehicle the spirit rides around in, but the “mind” is the most “dangerous of the trio. Man is a “ego” driven individual in the extreme. Ego to me stands for Edging God Out, and I have found this to be way too true! For instance when a person has been “taught something” especially if they paid money to learn it, this learning “has to be all, and everything!” It has to right and everything else is wrong!

When a human gets an idea that is one thing, but when a human adds emotion or perception to an experience that can become a “reality” to that individual. So emotion added to a perception equals most peoples reality, however it is not the truth or the reality at all! This is why our mind needs to be open, open to just listen carefully, open to a new way to apply something, open to a new way to see! Einstein said, “Imagination is greater than knowledge!” However most cannot even start to be open to new ways, another way, even considering a thought! Health is totally in our hands by the way we think, act, and do! Do you really want it?

For over 43 years I have seen “every condition” turned around and “so called medical experts turned on their heads,” by individuals who were open, and caring! Starting with the spirit first, all conditions are able to be healed! Starting by being a “know it all” absolutely brings continued sickness and death. An open mind with a willing spirit, is better than a “know it all ego” with a suffering or dying condition. Health requires being open, it takes your positive thoughts, backed with efforts, structured with getting “working knowledge” and you can have it!

Regarding “the know it all’s” who are mostly run by arrogance! Arrogance is “contempt prior to investigation!

Too many have forgotten that flight, phones, television were al a “NO WAY” at a not so long ago time! Healing is here, it is now, it is always possible, except for the arrogant! Even those who supposedly believe in GOD turn their noses up! So let the arrogant be and do your best to be open!

It is a know fact that there are exceptions to all conditions that were to be terminal, yet some did beat those predictions, so what can it hurt to listen, consider or even try?

Over the many years of working in the health and performance field I have seen way too many miracles to say no, or to say impossible! Staying open can only allow a possible better outcome!
