GOING TO THE GYM…….

And “WASTING YOUR TIME”……MOST EVERYONE DOES….

Ego makes more or most decisions for most, due to the fact that most everyone does what the majority are doing yet even though their actual measured or realized results are next to nothing, most believe they have it down when it comes to “what they are doing!” However when it comes to science and actual correct application most are way far away!

(don’t lie) When was the last time YOU TRULY (actually) MEASURED RESULTS?

YES, WITHOUT ACTUAL FACTS, knowledge or a solid fact-based plan the majority of individuals are wasting their time!  (be open minded here)

In fact, “if you are not actually measuring, testing, or keeping tack with records and measuring actual progress how do you or anyone truly know!

They don’t, but their “EGO” says they are doing great! 

(BUT, EVERYONE SEE’S THE LIES, except them)

Most see results in the beginning, but the results slow down! It doesn’t take long and the exercise is actually overdone! Yes, over done! Your muscles continue to get somewhat stronger; your heart gets stronger; your bones get denser!

But “THE INTERNAL ORGANS”  do not grow, get stronger and are “unable to keep up” with the increased demands from the continued exercise! (this is why results slow down)

This is why when individuals who have been steady at going to workout, and they miss a day, they see increased strength!

Hello, they didn’t get more exercise the “missed” a day!

So, what happened is, their body got a day to “catch up!”….FACT!

OFTEN, when an individual misses several days, they see a “big or noticeable increase in strength or endurance with their so-called “normal” workout! FACT!

Why, again, their body got a chance to “restore, or repair” itself more!

NOTE: they didn’t “get more stress from a workout,” they got an EXTRA DAY OFF, or more recovery time! 

NOTE: If you “ARE NOT SEEING STEADY RESULTS”, it is because your body CANNOT ADEQUATELY RESPOND! 

FACT: IF YOUR BODY “CANNOT RESPOND ADEUATELY,” YOU ARE DOING MORE DAMAGE THAN GOOD!

First before reading this check ego’s, emotions, and all non logical thinking at the door or pack your bags as you will be going on a “guilt trip!”
What the main reason is, not lack of knowledge alone, but “Lack of Working Knowledge!”
Why these programs fail to get results is, “Mainly due to” Emotional reasoning, instead of Facts!
How these programs “Continue to Exist is,” that No One will Set Their Ego Aside, and admit they are not working for THEM!”
When people go to the gym, they do not want to “get measured” because they do not want to SEE WHAT, or what not is really happening! They want to justify their time, money and efforts, and of course who wants to admit they have not really done much in the way of dietary changes ….ON A CONSISTENT BASIS!
Oh, yes, AND OF COURSE, who wants to say in all honesty, that they “hired that trainer because they were CUTE, and HAD A NICE WAY ABOUT THEM! See people, they down deep ACTUALLY KNOW, they did not really want someone to HOLD THEM “THAT” RESPONSIBLE! -how to test-

Results, real fat loss, muscle gain, measurements taken, blood chemistry tested, blood sugar tested, diet logs checked, asked all those questions………..NO, no, people do not want to put out the effort to make those happen, at least for the very vast major majority do not want that! THAT’S WAY TOO MUCH EXTRA EFFORT! A the very deepest level most believe they will fail!
In the 40+ years I have been working with health problems, stroke victims, even difficulties of extreme like cancer, weight loss, heart ailments, scholastic sports, professional athletes, and much, much more, even having clients fly in to work with me, very, very, very, few TRULY ARE WILLING TO DO WHAT IT TAKES!

Health, fitness, wellness, there is a huge difference in perception of what these actually mean, and what gets delivered!
In a world of ever increasing knowledge, people are using way, way less of it!
Fitness, exercise, and the like is still going backward!
Little to no testing, proving, verifying, and if there is testing it is most always selective, to sell something else! Remember there are no actual training’s done to prove or verify what exactly can be accomplished by most trainers!
People hire idiot trainers, who actually have never really “proven” that they are competent!
Why? How come? What’s the reason?
EMOTIONAL DECISIONS!!!! These so called emotional decisions are the very source of most mistakes!
Beware, it is your health, when truly looked at, at the deepest levels, and not just your money, time, and efforts! Know that health problems are mostly brought on by choice of lack of knowledge or research of factual needed requirements!
So what ever you are seeking, be it fat loss, strength, exercise, endurance, health, being fit, toned, or what ever your cup of tea, be sure to do some investigating, and verifying before you start!
Don’t just do what ever, do not hire just anyone, do not take someone’s word, do you’re do diligence, check things out! There are physiological known questions to be had for exactly the reason of knowing!
KNOW THIS……if results you are shown or told about, and not actually proven by multiple of testing are not all these then there is a huge lie, and incompetence!
Results must be…….predictable, measurable, repeatable, sustainable or there is no facts being based on!
If someone is going to the gym and training week after week or month after month and there are NO VISABLE RESULTS, then there is more health destruction going on than positive benefits, THINK ABOUT IT!
WHY, because the body is OVERTRAINED AND UNABLE TO PRODUCE POSITIVE RESULTS!

Exercise, weight loss, fitness, health clubs, and wellness programs…….what are you getting???
Facts, not feelings… Measured results, not maybe’s? Engineered successes, not guessing?
Thinner leaner, stronger, healthier, are all realities, if  your trainer, gym, or instructors are factually based and actually applying the facts to “engineer” our success.
Way too many people, are going to the gym and using non fact based methods and supposed techniques that do not and will not get the desired results they are seeking! In today’s world of information we should be getting the results we desire, and not wasting our time, efforts, and money, let alone damaging our health!
What should a person expect, if the facts are being used with knowledge and understanding?

Simple….  THE MINIMUM

1. You weight should be taken or monitored on a daily basis
2. Your measurements should be taken at least every 3 weeks.
3. Your pictures should be taken every 3weeks.
4. An accurate body composition taken every 3 weeks. (Such as near infra red light)
5. A strength or performance test or descending heart rate test every 3 – 4 weeks.
6. Checks on resting and working heart rates should be done regularly to check recovery.
7. If wellness is desired, blood sugar levels should be check regularly as well as blood
chemistry every three to four weeks. (Eight weeks minimum)
8. Progressions in workouts should be constantly monitored and regulated.
NOTE: IF you are not getting the above monitored, why not? Why? Because those selling the program are unlearned, not understanding basic’s, afraid of “not being able to actually produce results!”
If a program is based with facts and knowledge predictable results should be expected.
Too many programs are not based on facts, but based on “supposed methods” of what’s has been seen, done, and considered the norm!
By observing what is done within the so called “box” of fitness program norms one will observe that’s measurable results are a rarity and not the norm! Why? Why results are not the norm is because individuals are not held to standards even with trainer certifications there are no applied facts and methods set up to ensure the client or customer gets their desired results!
Real facts applied in the correct and consistent manner will gain the same “results” each and every time! If you are not getting measurable consistent results someone is inept, uneducated, unqualified or just plain misleading!
For over 43 years in the field of physical human performance, with health at he focal point my client’s results have been predictable, measurable, consistent, maintainable, and repeatable!
Most programs sadly say their clients advertised results “are not typical,” where as my clients “results are typical!”
Test, verify, constantly record and document what is happening, after all it is your efforts, time, money, and health that is at risk!
