Long term loss of weight is totally possible, if and when programs contain factual knowledge, and accurate applications that are actually real, and “working knowledge!”
I have had many clients clients whom have lost great amounts of weight (fat), like 120 – 230 lbs and have maintained “keeping it off” for many many years, actually the rest of their lives, because they have had a “value judgement change” in their core belief systems!
Weight loss can be done once, done right, and learned for life, IF an individual truly wants success!
The problem with weight loss having o be repeated or continuing again and again is because programs lack depth and completeness!
Depth in terms of weight loss is the missing information about what causes stoppage of loss and why loss runs into the problems of cravings and boredom!

When an individual goes on a “weight loss” program there is need for intellectual
understanding of many factors, so that a “value” can be established in the persons “core value system” to aide the individual to have “the right reasons” to continue and do what is needed day to day!
When a weight loss program is properly set up there should be no cravings, no hunger, feelings of loss of adequate food and there should be plenty of selections to chose from so that a person does not feel too restricted!
Understanding the why’s, how’s, and having an adequate amount of varied selections will allow a person to feel less controlled, more confident, and motivated! The main idea and goal should be to teach the person the understanding of why which then creates a “want to, which equals a “value judgement within the core being!” This then helps in the making of a true lifestyle!
Having an understanding of how blood sugar levels work, what they trigger in responses all helps to have continued results! By knowing what to do, when to do it, ad what alternatives can be utilized, they have the ability to have long term success!
It takes “time” to learn, time to do what needs to be done, and it takes having some real accountability within, and without, to be long term successful! But it is totally possible!
I have for over 43 years developed programs for peoples “long term health, and performance” and it does happen IF ….IF….. A PERSON “TRULY” WANTS TO LOSE THE WEIGHT!

I have been in the health and wellness field for over forty years!
It never was fitness for me. It was life and death, “actually health,” as my heart had problems, as my “The Great Fitness Fraud” book lays out. So for me it has always been health first, then performance or being in shape!
I was into nutrition before it was the “thing,” and I was even in the first article in the National Fitness and Trade Journal for health clubs, that called us “private coaches at the time,” Personal Trainers, yes, the first article to call people that!
Well. let me say it is still a JOKE! TRULY A JOKE!
Yes, being a personal trainer today means nothing at all! It means you can be certified without ever proving you can get any results for someone. Yes you can be CERTIFIED! Big deal. It doesn’t mean you know HOW, or will get any results at all. Anyone silly enough to hire a certified trainer ought to be certified stupid! Sadly these certification companies have taken people for their finances and gained them nothing worthwhile!

And diets do not work! You either go out and find someone who has plenty of the results you want or forget it!
Being a nutritionist means nothing, except they followed a course but again they never had to prove their competency. So you need a program where there is an abundance of people you can talk to and they all had great results and kept the results because it was a lifestyle based program which had support to keep teaching and gave reinforcement or understanding.
Now the really important thing not to do is to go out and get a health club membership! Do not go there because almost all clubs are only interested in selling you a membership and that is it, period. When you join a health club you want a place that is going to actually give you help or service! One that actually gives you instructions several times plus this club will call you if you do not come in for a week and see what you are doing with your program. I can honestly say health clubs today are worse than years ago, yes, worse by far!
I can say trainers and diets as well as most all programs, are a total ripoff! They are all as bad or worse than years ago and they lie more than ever! Remember – the companies that certified the trainers just wanted the money from the hope to be trainers! Luckily today we and others offer programs where hope to trainers can actually learn to get measured, tested, proven results for their clients!
I specialized in the science of predictable, measurable, sustainable results, no matter what the condition or problem! Whether you were a competitive athlete or had medical issues, fast results were my goal!
