HEALTH,…“ATTITUDE,” IS WHERE HEALTH STARTS…..

I know, I know, …wrong!

Just because we “internally desire” to be healthy, because we “internally know” we “need” to be healthy, doesn’t excuse the “non-maintaining” of health….now ”open up, relax, before” continuing!

ARROGANCE is, contempt” prior to investigation….which “INCLUDES almost EVERYONE!”

IGNORANCE, is “what you are about,” “after you act ARROGANT!”

Note: In my field, I know that I have learned the very most, “after,” yes, “AFTER,” I learned that taking a breath, “hearing anyone, and everyone through, is the best opportunity for learning!”

We never know, (especially if you’re a “believer”) when an absolute “golden gem of insights and or knowledge,” or an “epiphany” Will come to us!…. Humble, humility,” are always the roads to the greatest of insights!

True health “is even when we can stop, breathe, control our thoughts, then make decisions with knowledge, not emotions, and feel, it’s o.k.!”

Remember Health requires care, “true care” for your “whole being!”

The Spirit needs, scriptural food for nourishment!

The Mind needs, factual logic, and knowledge for nourishment!

The Body needs, nutrition, water, and oxygen for nourishment!

Usually the unconsidered is…..the following!

The “whole being” needs or requiresrest or sleep or down time,… for processing, repair and replacement!

 

Chances are really high, that you as most, didn’t ever see or think about the above! We do, ALWAYS!

A euphemism is an indirect, usually polite, way of referring to a disagreeable, if not morally repellent, aspect of life. It’s common to hear euphemisms when discussing things like death, sex, and defecation. For example, we may hear that someone “passed away.” The vast majority of adults recognize this as a reference to death. Only very young children, or mentally slow people, might ask, “passed where?” Or when a woman excuses herself from a dinner table to “go powder her nose,” no one is thinking she’s going to literally powder her nose (anyone in Miami excepted). Or when we hear a reference to someone who has recently “bought the farm,” no one is actually wondering why the person in question suddenly decided to withdraw all of his savings and make a down payment on a career change that’s dubious at best.

            However, sometimes euphemisms persist for such a long time that people actually become convinced that the euphemism, however colorful and obviously exaggerated it may have been, at least in the beginning, has now become accepted as the thing itself (see coke-whores in Miami, or just re-watch Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface). This kind of unintentional irony may be amusing to the more enlightened among us, but can prove hazardous for those foolish enough to take them at face value.

            It is in this spirit of public-minded beneficence, that I would like to offer up a re-fresher on the euphemisms in a field that is certainly of great interest to all of us. The field of health and medicine has for too long been handmaid to a wide variety of euphemisms. Furthermore, there’s not a day—nay, an hour—when I can open my internet homepage without seeing heavily circulated articles on the subject of healthcare, health insurance, or medicine in general. Understanding that this is a field of great interest to both the public and politicians (politicians always being slavishly attentive to the concerns and general well-being of the public), I now humbly offer up a brief guide on decoding one of today’s more common euphemisms, “medicine.”

All medicines are of a class, which has multiple qualities by which they can be reliably identified to the knowing consumer. The FIRST and most fundamental aspect of ANY MEDICINE is…

 

  • It acts as a socially-accepted and SOPHISTICATED poison (Yes! There’s nothing that quite raises one’s status in the eyes of the pet-sitter rifling through your medicine cabinet, than a wide array of small plastic bottles with bold black type that says “5 Mg” or “25 Mg,” each one with a vaguely new agey-sounding name that inevitably includes a w, x, or z. So forget about that new iphone and get to the nearest doctor with a name that only an Indian who won a spelling bee could pronounce).

 

Next, all medicines…

 

  • Are a chemical concoction designed to “cover up” an irritating symptom. This masking of the symptom is a necessary aspect of any medicine because it diverts the consumer’s attention away from the 1st quality, which is to SLOWLY POISON the consumer, but doing so in a way that both raises your esteem in the eyes of all the drunk dinner guests rifling through your medicine cabinet AND makes whatever irritation led you to consult the so-called “doctor” in the first place. While this state of affairs often leaves an individual mistakenly believing they have been healed, it does provide a ready contrast should the sucker—oops, I mean “patient”—ever decide to try to ween himself off the juice.

 

  • ALL MEDICINES are conspicuously lacking any ingredients that would accidentally restore, rebuild, revitalize, or otherwise lead to some inexplicable improvement in the patient. Furthermore, there are ALWAYS many, many added negative side effects. This ensures that even if by some miracle the consumer shows some improvement with regard to the original symptoms, there will be many, many more that will probably arise in its wake. These side-effects can rarely fit on the label of the bottle itself, and will frequently be printed in 6 point (or smaller) Arial font, on both sides of piece of paper that’s been folded more than 7 times. This piece of paper is usually about the size of a postage stamp, and by virtue of the folds (both half-wise and accordion-style) nearly as thick. This results in a dexterous illegal factory-worker somewhere stuffing the list of side effects down in the cardboard box U-wise. While this design is very useful for exempting the medicine company from any legal liability, it does place the burden of having a pair of needle-nose pliers handy on the consumer.

 

  • MEDICINES are not only socially accepted (often shared), but elevate the status of the prescribee, allowing him to be a member of the much-ballyhooed “victim class.” That’s right! Just because you’re not black, or brown, or illegal, or some kind of degenerate who aspires to dress in drag and read picture books to little straight children at the local library, doesn’t mean YOU can’t have membership in this prized demographic. Also, should the patient survive the long course of symptom-masking, side-effect causing “suicide agents,” THEN you may become a member of the crème de la crème—yes! YOU will then be eligible to wear a STUPID SHIRT, or as they are euphemistically referred to, “Survivor” t-shirts (corresponding hats, visors, pins, ribbons, and bumper stickers are also available).

 

  • You’ve heard of Pay to Play, right? Well, all MEDICINES obey the law of P4P, or rather Poison For Pay. Furthermore, this aspect of Medicine follows the important law of Poison on a Continuum. That is, the more costly the “medicine,” the more POISONOUS. This is particularly important when it comes time to redeem your foolishness, vanity, and selfishness (not to mention self-inflicted suffering) for your Stupid / Survivor t-shirt.
  •  
  • The last and most important way to identify a MEDICINE is the source. Medicine is usually prescribed by egotist. The egotist is reliably identified by a white coat, a stethoscope around his neck, illegible handwriting, and a dismissive air of scumbag-entitlement and condescension which would otherwise be found only in 3rd world shitholes that have yet to abolish their sentimental attachment to the more rude aspects of some caste system. Often the lying egotist is referred to as “Doctor” by his staff and patients.

IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER –

 A  CURE….= ANYTHING THAT REMOVES THE IRRITATING SYMPTOM

TO HEAL…= ANYTHING THAT RESTORES TO THE ORIGINAL

ACCOUNTABILITY – With Your Health, Wellness

ACCOUNTABILITY IS THE MISSING INGREDIENT…, THE ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT

If you desire to be healthy, and you are not where you desire to be, then it’s your lack of commitment, so get a program with ACCOUNTABILITY!

Fat, flabby, soft, unfit, sickly, lazy, tired, depressed…it’s all your decisions, actions or “lack of actions,” and your diet. ….No one holding you accountable??

Fact, the vast majority of people have never ever known or even come close to knowing what it is like, to feel “truly healthy!”

No, they have not, not even close, and why? Because the vast majority of programs, for health and fitness never incorporate enough factors, with enough proper applications to get the real and or full results available!

Everyone uses the lie, yes “LIE,” “the, oh, I eat healthy!”  SORRY…….WRONG!

Most individuals, “immediately want acceptance,” so they answer to what they believe will give them acceptance of who’s there at that moment!

No, most do not even start to have a clue, let alone get a grasp on what eating healthy really is, especially Doctors, Nurses, and even nutritionist!

Think about it, IF…IF…nutritionist were actually knowledgeable, people in hospitals would be getting well and walking out healed! But it is a known fact, that even diabetics have to stay on their medications even under the care of nutritionist in the hospitals! This says so much, and it isn’t good!

People go to Doctors seeking a cure, yet the Doctors cannot even tell people most of the time “how they got their condition,” or “what exactly caused their state of unhealth!” So, who’s stupid here?

The individuals who need to seek the Doctors constantly, are the same individuals who lack preventive measures, self-care, and self-maintenance! They usually have their self-will running riot!

If an individual, calls a person on not taking precautions, or not eating healthy, that person saying “that something,” runs the risk of being ridiculed, hated, belittled, told they are being judgmental, and much worse!

No, today helping anyone, especially helping them with “their accountability” for their own health, can run the better than not risk of being hated, ostracized, and shunned! When in reality, true care, is to speak the total truth, in well intent, for the long-term good of the others!

Arrogance it’s “contempt,” prior to investigation, and arrogance is running riot in today’s society! Especially in this time of the “internet,” when most think they know everything, about everything! Just try listening closely, to the responses people give when told or given any advice.

People pay professionals for guidance and then try telling the professionals “how they want the professional to help,” and how the work should be done! So, accountability is almost always met with denial, contempt, and a view of arrogance, in place of acceptance!

The number one obvious fact is, “that if, what the person thought worked, they would not be in the shape or position they are in!”

So if an individual truly desires “change, results, or a different outcome,” they need to hire a professional who has plenty of proof!

This applies to, fitness, sports, weight loss, health, healing, rehabilitation, and as well to coaches, trainers instructors, teachers…..EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE…!!!

Then trust, and comply with that professional, or at least shut up, and allow the professional to speak, direct, and then do what the professional directs them to do!

Remember, if a person is having an undesired effect in a specific area, it is usually because of what is being done, is not what needs to be done!

So, hire a professional, then allow them to do their job, by helping them with your compliance!

Accountability is imperative to stay within the guidelines for the proper outcomes, help by listening, and doing what is being asked!

Put the EGO aside, get humble, have trust, and realize what you thought you knew, “didn’t work!”

Exercise – Lacking Results .…. 99+% of programs don’t have a clue….

The above statement is actually, factually, “being kind”…..

IGNORANCE, is “the lack of knowledge!”  This lack of knowledge or actual facts, along with incorrect applications is “the greatest problem” in getting actual, measurable, and continual results with exercise programs, and health!

This lack of facts and correct applications is due to “EGO!” Ego says to one’s self, “I’m doing it right,” I am right in what I am doing, “I know!”

After all, in honesty most everyone uses the approach of just “watch others,” and surely they know, or they have it down, I’ll do that! …..WRONG!

People continue doing the same thing day in and day out, without “more results” and one has to ask themselves, “what is everyone doing?” I mean, really? Doing the same thing over and over, while expecting a different result, is insanity!

If someone was able to become informed, and the requirements for more serious results “required change,” most would not change what they were doing, due to looking very different! After all, the “accepted way” or style, is “accepted,” and people want to be “accepted,” and especially  to not “look different!” 

Why aren’t coaches, trainers, individuals not getting more results for all the time they spend?

What is going on with those who spend so much time exercising, and yet have little to no real noticeable changes or improvements?

Is it their lack of facts, or is it their applications? Could it be that they think they know, and their “arrogance and ego” keeps them form a different thinking? I believe it keeps them from even researching and being open.

This massive problem of going to the gym, and not getting more results is actually a plague of “Ego,” the “I know,” plus the, I am at least going to the gym, and I am NOT WRONG!

I believe after almost 50 years in gyms and health clubs, it’s LAZY! Yes, lazy, sloth, not being willing to do any research because, after all that would take “an effort!”

Arrogance, is defined as “contempt prior to investigation!” This is at least a huge part of the problem, just try asking anyone of these types, “what are the physiological facts behind your method?” Get ready to be “hated!” How dare you question that, after all “everyone does it this way!” Right here, the point will be made, proven! (seriously, watch their face when asking)

Most individuals are exercising “too much” (volume, amount), yet they are not exercising with enough effort (intensity)! Remember exercise is called a “work out,” not an “easy out,” or a “fun out!”

If an individual truly increases “intensity of effort” into exercise, they will not be able to perform at length! Another not thought of fact is, when effort or intensity is increased, time (rest) and requirements (nutrition) for recovery must be considered!

Know this, that when a program for improved health and performance “is balanced correctly,” that measured results can, and will happen on a steady basis! Results can be actually predicted, tested, and proven continuously! True Professionals and professional programs can actually predict, measure, test, and keep results continuing with “working knowledge!”

“The Unconsidered”…… in fitness, exercise, and sports  

When “fitness, sports, athletics” became top of mind, there is a usually an overlooked serious consideration! This serious consideration has been, ”what does the body dictate!”

More,  is and has been an attitude with exercise, fitness, sports, and athletic training, along with, “whatever it takes!” Yet, if one stands back, removes the ego, slows down, and opens their mind, major serious, benefits  can and will happen!

First, and foremost “ego has reigned,” in the exercise arena for decades!  This meaning, that “more” is better, and almost compulsory for improvement, as is common thought and practice! When in reality, “more” leads to overtraining!” Overtraining can be easily avoided, if, yes a big “IF,” most individuals could get their “ego” and the idea of “more is always better” out of their ways!  (putting ego aside is near impossible)

Research, and scientific fact has shown that recovery, “full recovery” form training is the only time “when” performance is increased, not during the recovery, but after “full recovery” has taken place!

Imagine, an athlete who utilizes this information on a continuous basis, their career would be not just improved but lengthened!

So the “Unconsidered” is health, wellness, being sound at the deeper levels!

“Overtraining” is seeing or realizing slower or no measurable increases in performance!

This is saying this…your bodies “Response Mechanisms, Are Unable To Adequately Respond!” (showing increases)

This isn’t just “overtraining,” this is actually depleting your health!
