GOING TO THE GYM…….

And “WASTING YOUR TIME”……MOST EVERYONE DOES….

Ego makes more or most decisions for most, due to the fact that most everyone does what the majority are doing yet even though their actual measured or realized results are next to nothing, most believe they have it down when it comes to “what they are doing!” However when it comes to science and actual correct application most are way far away!

(don’t lie) When was the last time YOU TRULY (actually) MEASURED RESULTS?

YES, WITHOUT ACTUAL FACTS, knowledge or a solid fact-based plan the majority of individuals are wasting their time!  (be open minded here)

In fact, “if you are not actually measuring, testing, or keeping tack with records and measuring actual progress how do you or anyone truly know!

They don’t, but their “EGO” says they are doing great! 

(BUT, EVERYONE SEE’S THE LIES, except them)

Most see results in the beginning, but the results slow down! It doesn’t take long and the exercise is actually overdone! Yes, over done! Your muscles continue to get somewhat stronger; your heart gets stronger; your bones get denser!

But “THE INTERNAL ORGANS”  do not grow, get stronger and are “unable to keep up” with the increased demands from the continued exercise! (this is why results slow down)

This is why when individuals who have been steady at going to workout, and they miss a day, they see increased strength!

Hello, they didn’t get more exercise the “missed” a day!

So, what happened is, their body got a day to “catch up!”….FACT!

OFTEN, when an individual misses several days, they see a “big or noticeable increase in strength or endurance with their so-called “normal” workout! FACT!

Why, again, their body got a chance to “restore, or repair” itself more!

NOTE: they didn’t “get more stress from a workout,” they got an EXTRA DAY OFF, or more recovery time! 

NOTE: If you “ARE NOT SEEING STEADY RESULTS”, it is because your body CANNOT ADEQUATELY RESPOND! 

FACT: IF YOUR BODY “CANNOT RESPOND ADEUATELY,” YOU ARE DOING MORE DAMAGE THAN GOOD!

There are several important ways to learn to HELP, RECOVERY! There are also several major ways to test and know WHEN YOU ARE READY for another workout!

 Don’t just keep pushing limits!

Comprehensive Health Programs… “Minimum Expectations”

 This article is to help “cause an awareness” of the “positive or negative effects,” that can be delivered, if a program or directing professional is truly knowledgeable!

NOTE: The following are just “some” of the more in depth “real health markers” that can show someone the signs of lack, or improvement in physical health, performance and longevity! These are actually testable, verifiable, and provable!

However, way too often “many of these minimums cannot even be explained” by many so-called fitness, wellness or health care professionals! No, and too often not even explained by most Doctors, who you would hope, would know the body.

These minimums require “not just knowledge,” but “working knowledge” with “years of experience” to be able to “effectively know” how to adjust or start to make improvements!

IF an individual “cannot fully explain what these minimums are, what affects them, and what they represent,” then it is should be self-evident they are “ignorant to the essential requirements” of health for the whole human being (spirit, mind, body)!

These requirements are what are involved with Hippocrates statement about, “what sort of man has the disease!”  Which he stated, “it is more important to know than, “the sort disease the man has!” This is about “care” and care for the whole man and the total workings!

Does your Doctor or healthcare professional seek to know “what sort of person you are?”

Does he “truly” care,… really? ……Here’s a check to see!

 (So most will not heed this, because they are so insecure, yet have too much ego to listen)

Realize this is about physiological facts, buy ego, runs people’s arrogance to continue in their ignorance….(people will viciously protect their ignorance)! Meaning “they do not want to hear anything different” than what they are doing, “because it takes effort to listen, the effort to think about change,” and that “possibly” could be seen as them being wrong!

One set of an exercise is adequate, if the exercise is pushed to a point of stimulus for response or momentary muscular failure. More is actually unnecessary and only wastes recovery ability slowing progress! If more exercise is better or more sets, then why don’t people just work out all day, every day? Exercise is actually a stress, or a stimulus to hopefully bring forth a positive response. Ego is a possibility here.

(why waste your efforts, because You Are So Insecure, admit it….and You did not use enough effort on what you did…see,  insecure!) SARCASM

The body is a complete unit, it needs to be rested as a whole unit, fed as a whole unit, and exercised as a whole unit. One cannot just feed the lower body one day, and feed the upper body the next day! Nor can a person just sleep the lower body one day and the upper body the next. The body must have time to accumulate recovery materials (adequate nutrients) to have a positive benefit in the form of results. Exercise does not “make” the results, the materials or nutrients do.

( think about it, but you probably know more than physiologist, and will make your body do what science can’t, right… ) SARCASM

 

Cardio exercise should be performed after, resistance exercise. By doing cardio after resistance exercise the body receives the benefit of elevated heart rate during resistance training that lowers glucose levels. Due to these lowered glucose levels fat burning during cardio increases faster. The body also receives the benefit of removing oxidized materials from resistance exercise due to the cardio being performed after resistance exercise.

GOING to the GYM …. But Going No Where…or “Being Typical…!”

YES, you know them, and all too well!

You, are you one of them? If so, can you admit it?

You know them, those individuals who are always talking about going to the “health club or gym,” you know, the club that really has got nothing to do with health!

You know, those money pits that possibly you and most attend! The place where it gives you nothing of real facts, let alone no real factual proven or proper instruction, but it wants and takes your money every month!

You know, the place people spend their hard-earned money for a “rental” of some space, exercise equipment, and a shower!

Or are you like those who are going to an exercise program, that’s definitely not showing any real results!

Or possibly you are going to that so-call trainer, that is exactly that, ”a trainer” who’s got “you trained,” to bring them a check/money while you haven’t changed at all in months!

Many of these “so-called” and “self-proclaimed trainers” will actually compete in physique contests doing some good, yet their clients never seem to change or show any visible improvements! So this proves the point that it’s important FOR RESULTS TO HAPPEN WITH THEM, and not their clients!

People should beware, of not just what these so-called trainers say they are, and “what they say they can do!” Most importantly, any prospective clients should actually research, what does the trainer actually deliver, and is it delivered on a consistent basis with all type of clients!

Without adequate and proper investigation, many individuals are DUPED! So, simply put,  “what’s your time, money and efforts worth?” NOT TO MENTION YOUR HEALTH! 

Did you ever really look around at the willingly misguided, and ignorant, doing their so-called exercises? Did you see, or notice all the ridiculous throwing, dropping and half range of movements being done? Kinetic, ballistic movements that do “nothing for really building strength,” but do cause a tremendous amount of injuries? That type of exercise does somewhat demonstrate strength, yet it does not “build strength!”

But hey, you and those are “working out!”

Did you ever stop to notice, how they do all the “extra or multiple sets?”

Why?… INSECURE to the max, are you and AREN’T THEY?

YES, the fact is a muscle can be “stimulated to change” with one set, yes ONE SET, DONE OR PUSHED TO A POINT OF STIMULUS FOR RESPONSE! (of course that point isn’t comfortable)

But hey, they are insecure, unlearned, and “so EGO driven” in place of FACT DRIVEN, so you are way better off, not even trying to say anything to “help them!”

IF, you do try to help them, their severe insecurity, due to lack of knowledge, will get a response that they obviously see you as saying, “they are wrong,” rather than seeing, you are sincere in really trying to help!

Of course, let’s not forget because many are insecure, and EGO driven, they will go so far as to try to “train their upper body one day, and their lower body the next day!” Now this is how ridiculous it can get, when EGO drives INSECURITY, that these lost logic lacking, individuals haven’t even researched or considered ANY FACTS!

Why? Well obviously if they TRAIN or EXERCISE their “upper body one day, and their lower body the next day,” shouldn’t they also just “FEED their upper body one day, and FEED their lower body the next day?”

BUT WAIT, shouldn’t they also just SLEEP or RECOVER their upper body one day and just SLEEP or RECOVER their lower body the next day?” (by the way, JUST HOW DO THEY DO THAT…) It just gets more and more ridiculous, especially when you study some basic physiology and proper applications!

Remember all basic logic and simple observation is “out the window” due to insecurity and ego!

I don’t get, how these types of DELUDED, demented, non-logical, and obviously UNTEACHABLES, can make it through day to day life without major help? They never bother to actually do any INDEPENDENT research or fact gathering, and yet continue without ANYTHING to show in actual, measurable results for all their time, and efforts, let alone nothing bettered about their health!

Our body requires three distinct process’s for response! Number one, is accumulation of materials for response(nutrition)! Number two, is time for processing materials for response! Number three is time for applying the repair or recovery!

Exercise is a “STRESS,” a triggering, a pushing beyond the momentary ability to “cause a hopeful, positive response (added strength or muscle)!” YET these insecure, unlearned, uneducated want, YES WANT, to believe their going to “dictate” to the body what they want it to do!”

It’s sad, and yet funny that they persist day after day, month after month with little to absolutely NOTHING TO SHOW! But HEY, they are there! REALLY…I MEAN, “REALLY?”

Watch when someone tries to offer fact-based help, their response is, NO, “I KNOW!”

So this drives me to ask them, “SO, if you know, why are you making NO PROGRES, and You LOOK THE SAME, so why do you come here? THE POINT HERE IS, ARE THEY DELUDED, STUPID, INSECURE, or ARROGANT or “ALL OF THESE?”  I know most of you get this!

There are great informational sources out there, for everyone to work with!

Too many people make a spontaneous or fast emotional decision about weight loss, or getting fit, or changing their physical performance levels. There are actual scientific factors, that must be applied in specific sequences, to gain specific responses! If training or exercising someone was so easy we would see so much more repeated, consistent, measurable results with many more individuals, BUT WE DON’T!

I have been in the physical human performance field for over 45 years, and I even wrote the book on FITNESS FRAUD! Get it, it will make you aware of what’s needed! FITNESS, LIES ….WORSE NOW, than “EVER” …..

I have been in the field of health, wellness, exercise, and nutrition for well over 43 years! During that time I must say the truth of the matter is, that man’s EGO knows no bounds and man’s lust for money definitely knows no limits, and to lie just to be thought right or get attention is allowable, and these are my serious observations in a very mild form! Also, I must say that fitness is DEFINITELY MUCH WORSE NOW, than 30 – 40, even 50 years ago!

I got into these fields because I had some serious health conditions, and I desired to have answers, that no one seemed to have! As I got farther into my years of questioning and research, I heard a new name come to the surface; it was “fitness!” Yes, it was being called “physical fitness” and I was absolutely shocked. Why was I shocked, it is simple, as I had researched what worked, and what did not work, and what worked was not as “popular” as what only sounded good! You see, TRUTH is not a priority for most, meaning if money can be had or made over a person’s well-being, YOU ARE TOAST!

Yes, it was very, very, important for whatever was being sold, that “the famous criteria for selling” of anything had to apply! This criteria, is needed to cause an “emotional buy in,” meaning it did not have to be “all” true, or it did not have to be fact, it just had to “sound good” and be what was immediately “perceived as the fix” or what appeared to be needed! So, it had to be CHEAP, FAST, and EASY! Then, whatever it was, would become “super star” idea etc., no matter what! Hey, if it sold, great!

Health had little to do with this “fitness,” it was about, does it sound right, does it look right, does it “get people excited?” If it could sell, and sell big, then that was all that mattered!

Health Clubs were not and are not really about health, they were about getting people in and selling a membership that hopefully the person would pay for, but never use! They should have been called “wealth clubs” for the owners! This membership money was the free money, for little or no responsibility to deliver any form of service! Then the gym, or so-called health club, could roll in the money with little to no outlay of any effort, while making scads of money on the poor customers for nothing being put in their court! It was and has been take, take, take!

Eventually, everyone starts to see it, they do not want to say so, so they still turn a blind eye to it as if hoping they will find some way, to get the results they have so desired!

Next, down the road of fitness came the “personal trainer,” who was supposed to get the client some results! I call them the “personal strainers, pocket drainers, no brainers, and entertainers!”  The programs these mostly misinformed, misguided, duped individuals pay for does not give any one of them, any worth-while teaching in how to guarantee their client any results! These certification companies are worse than robbers, cheats, and frauds, but hey the trainers don’t even know, until later on, much later on!

Gyms or so-called health clubs could care less if the client gets any result, the goal is to sell memberships, period, ANOTHER LIE! Who cares about the client? When it comes to programs that the trainers can use, there is no real physiological, fact based, plans what so ever! The instructors are not even in truly good shape, like ZUMBA should be called “BAH- ZOOMBA” when you look at the width of most instructor’s hips (butts)! Spinning is another one of the way over rated, supposed results producing classes, along with Cross Fit, and “I would be all too willing to prove it,” these are doing more wrong than good! Anyone wanting to put money on it, I’ll take all the bets?

Diets, and most diet plans are even worse, they most all are way damaging to overall health, like the HCG DIET, or the low fat diet, and all the meal companies that sell worthless foods and teach nothing of value to help the client long term! Then there are the Doctors who perform worthless modifications of lap band and gastric bypass to the body that leaves the person way worse than when they met, and worse off for life, MORE LIES! Get the money, the rest does not matter is their model, after all they are a “Doctor,” Yuk, Yuk, Yuk!  POINT: If a Doctor is supposed to know the body, and cure it, why can’t they help a person PREVENT the weight gain, and teach how to take it off without money making SURGICAL procedures? What are they really about?

So-called “personal trainers” are more deluded than the courses they take, and actually have the gall to sell their services “without actual proof by testing of any worth, as great trainers!” Again, it is MORE LIES, just get the money! But the bad part is, if you listen closely, is that everyone says, “oh I like this person or that trainer,” if a trainer was truly making you change and getting you out of your comfort zone, in reality they would not be “so liked!” Com’on here, really?

People should be much more careful to get the facts and learn proper questions to ask, and know the tests that should be done to actually verify results! This is about your long-term health people, what is your health worth to you, or “can you be so deluded that you have yourself believing that “YOU KNOW” what the facts are,” yea, sure, right! Remember most all decisions to hire a trainer and buy a gym membership are done on an EMOTIONAL BASIS! These decisions are done by feelings not facts, and research!

Get much of our info for free on our website, and youtubes, use caution, be smart, it is your health, money, time, and efforts, protect yourself!

Enough already, how stupid can people make themselves look?

I’ve been in the health and human physical performance field for over 45 years, and it is far more BACKWARD than progressive!

IF in doubt about what I am saying here, remember I wrote the book on Fitness Fraud,…… read it The Great Fitness Fraud. on amazon. Some will actually learn more, far more than their Trainer or Coach even know! In fact some could read the book and go back and really “school” their old so called trainer or coach!

People go out and join every new craze, getting no more or better results, yet they swear they are! Liars to themselves, liars to others, it’s beyond PATHETIC!

NOTE: Using a name or gaining a certification DOES NOT MAKE IT SO.

Programs that use ballistic movements or kinetic energy causing more injuries than good, and kinetic energy causing more stress than good, FACT! Look around at programs that use kettle bells being swung, barbells being rapidly moved, jumping up and down of box’s and the like, it’s all kinetic! IT’S A LAUGH, let them TRY TO DO THAT SLOW, WITH RESISTANCE using only strength. …..IT WON’T HAPPEN!

THOSE DOING SUCH AND WORSE those teaching such do not know the difference between DEMONSTRATING STRENGTH, and BUILDING IT!

These same FRAUDS that brag and teach such lies never ever will take a real challenge, but only TALK, TALK, AND TALK, BECAUSE THEY WANT THE “MONEY,” NOT THE CLIENTS BENEFIT!

Then there are the realities of testing, multiple testing, not a measurement here and a weigh in there, but again NO WAY are these frauds going to jeopardize their income!

Well the last of the fall/winter “eating fests” are about to come to an end!
In a few weeks, many will hit the scale or try on clothing that has grown way too tight!
 
The scale is most common, but the wardrobe is the real killer on the ego, because this is where the reality of just how out of control one has been!
 
Yes, those extra’s with the extra’s, have now developed the “extra” around the middle, legs, seat, and the “all over” effects are now REALITY! …..OUCH!
 
SO NOW THE EMOTIONAL “FREAK-OUT” HITS! Causing most to do anything except, use facts, plan, and they seek doing anything that’s is immediate, now, fast, etc.!
 
Problem is that “most fast weight loss programs” use any approach and the usual rule here is this: fast short term visible results EQUAL long term debilitating or damaging effects! The results are not just fat loss but muscle also, which causes slowing of the metabolism long term!
 
Investigation into factual, healthful, properly balanced programs takes a bit, some effort, and usually cost a little more! The long term natural answer is a program that teaches a true lifestyle, so that sustaining the results is assured!
 
A proper program uses testing, measurements, photos, educates, and has long term success clients that can be talked to!
 
Beware of trainers, coaches, nutritionists, gyms, health clubs etc., Get the facts, research, learn who, what, where, and when! The vast majority of programs are fraud! They waste time, money, efforts, and health! Don’t be sold by “the legends I their own minds!” Beware of the gyms, trainers and programs that do not have “complete programs’ that do not “teach, the why’s,” and then actually prove things!
 
Anyone properly instructed and trained should be able to lose a size every 2 – 3 weeks, without hunger, without cravings, and photos every 3 weeks as well as measurements plus an accurate body composition taken to prove accuracy of programming!
