Recipes for quick food sources

1.5 lbs. of FOWL, FISH, or 18 LARGE EGGS HARD BOILED (8 MINUTES total)……
Fowl = chicken, turkey, game hens, duck
Fish = tuna (water packed) salmon, shrimp, etc.

Note – eggs should be sliced and mashed, – fowl, and fish weights are after draining and cooking!

3 – large well-rounded TABLESPOONS of safflower mayonnaiseonly
3 – large celery stalks – finely chopped
2 – large carrots grated
½ – med – large red onion finely chopped
2 -3 bell peppers (yellow or red or green) finely chopped
2-3 – cloves garlic crushed or minced
¼ – teaspoon mixed pepper (cayenne, black, white)
¼ – teaspoon salt

Optional –
½ – cup green chilies mild
1-3 finely grated jalapenos or Serrano’s
Mix well – let stand over night, portion out -…..
Idea – fill into bell peppers with tops cut of as containers!

CROCK POT – VEGETABLE CONCENTRATE

Fill a crock-pot with a mixture of vegetables (low glycemic)i.e., onions, garlic, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, cabbage, green beans,
bok-choi, kale, etc.
Add – 1 – 2 cups water or V8 low sodium
cook 2 – 4 hours on high
mash vegetables with potato masher

NOW – place half of the mix in a separate container to be prepared after this first batch of the recipe.
In this first half batch “add vegetables of a specific and or different variety to be “seasoned” in a specific way or liking……..and cook 2 more hours on low …..

Remove vegetables which are now concentrated and place into 2 cup containers and freeze
for future use.
Now do the same procedure, but using “other seasoning and vegetables” and do the same as above

These two food recipe prep ideas are for those who desire to have ready to go fast feedings that
can deliver healthy nutritious snacks and meals…use thermos containers for hot servings
or eat cold.
All that is needed is to add your complete protein selections and or oil in the correct amount!
