VEGETABLES for Health,
the best, in so many ways, yet the most complained about!
Note: I did not say be a vegetarian or vegan! This is a possible lifestyle, yet not an efficient one! We will gladly explain if a person can give adequate answers showing they know enough for an intelligent conversation with facts proving!
Being a “vegetarian”, is not an optimal style, unless you are a die-hard hard head, without logic, or reasoning! But, I will cover this at another time! By the way, start with thinking of complete or incomplete protein, and whether you would want to use “complete” or “incomplete” proteins to rebuild your body!
Yes, VEGETABLES are the very best type of carbs, that’s right, especially if low glycemic types!
Most low glycemic vegetables burn more calories passing through our systems than they provide us!
The “big gripe” with lots of Vegetables…..??? …..many beside Boredom
Vegetables, types, preps, ideas, and Boredom is it seems is always an issue!
There are NO EXCUSE’S for boredom, except for desiring “EASE” of “selection!”
Know that the body adapts fast to the same foods, therefore varying selections is a “must!”
Varying vegetables is something the individual “must do themselves” as each individuals taste are somewhat unique!
Vegetables, are the best selection, especially for fat loss, they should be “low glycemic.”
Vegetables should be varied also by color and type.
Vegetables can be eaten raw, blanched, steamed, roasted.
Best is to use some raw, some slightly cooked, best however would be more raw, and some cooked!
Note: if boredom is the problem, that is because of several “bad habits of the person” experiencing boredom!
Same selections, same preparations, lack of creativity are what the facts are that make up boredom! Simple enough, the same selections of an individual are what must change to stop boredom, nothing else is possible!
Varying, actually “not varying” is the most common problem of boredom. Using the same “few” vegetable selections is usually the cause! A person needs to change colors, types, and preparation styles, this is a unique problem to each individual as tastes are the usual problem due to the individual “not” changing mental ideas of “what is possible!”
“Tastes can change, especially when varied “combinations” are eaten together!”
It is each client’s own responsibility to try, vary, and change combinations! The use of varied recipe ideas is helpful, especially by using what is “allowable” with varied diets or recipes! This may include sauces, herbs, and varied seasonings! Yes, one must use discrimination of watching out for added salt, sugars, preservatives, etc., however no one person can just “list what will match another individuals taste!”
There is the making of thick densely thick stews, soups etc., with all kinds and types of vegetables while staying even within the “low glycemic” category! Some use of low starch vegetables that are not beans (legumes), peas, rice, corn, grains, or potatoes are out there!
Look to the many, many ways to make fresh salads! Use vegetable old that are normally steamed or cooked, use imagination! NO ONE, but the individual knows what possibilities are possible without new, varied idea’s! Look, search, find new recipes, add, eliminate etc.!
