EVALUATING PROGRAMS – for Health, Fitness, Fat Loss, Wellness….
Is It “Ego, Delusion, or Intelligence” …..
People almost everywhere at various times of year, suddenly decide they are going to get in shape, get into health!” So,…maybe,…hopefully when the idea has struck, the intent is maybe there also, but “will they,”…”it’s DOUBTFUL?”
Most of those people are flat out “greatly deluded,” it’s laughable, funny, and for the most part they’re actually being “wishful at best!”
People like to “talk big, talk smack,” about their newly found decisions to start “exercise programs,” and get a personal “trainers!”
Most people “want to believe” they are going to get in shape, and right here is where “reality” gets totally lost!
They lack solid, basic, factual physiology, biology, nutrition, and chemistry, so how does one actually qualify, anyone, any program or anything? Almost no one, ever truly does any in depth research, into “who” is factually qualified!
The actual facts are “that less than 1% of all,” yes “all” trainers, have had any fact-based training, or have any fact-based physiology, to know and apply results gaining methods! Most use “perceived methods” and myths, that are commonly used by others!
Most all trainers are picked or chosen by the client’s “emotions,” rather than actual proven, tested abilities! Sad, but true, it is usually a “perception” (which is not reality) that is the deciding factor!
Then, the individuals hiring these ill qualified, “wonder why” results are less than minimal! Duuuhhh….!
Truly, “getting in shape” is “greatly mis-understood!”
Yes, it’s like the old joke of, your going to get in shape? Well your doing a really good job of it, and yes “Round” is a shape and your it! (so, most are already there)
Most people who believe they are in shape, are actuality either “over fat,” by body composition testing, or are barely in “minimal shape by true factual standards!”
Being “in shape” can and does “vary” according to the degree of experience of the coaches! Most trainers do not ever test more than one or two details, and then there is minimal results at best that can actually be measured, which leaves “real depth and understanding” out!
Realize, that even Doctors, “Do Not Know” what “being in shape” means, or what it truly is!
So, do not look to Doctors to know how to “get in shape,” neither can they tell you how to get “healthy!”
IMPORTANT: Doctors are never taught “how to build health,” neither are Doctors taught how to use preventive health measures!”
Think, if any DOCTOR truly cared, they would have learned preventive measures so their clients would never suffer at all, while being sick, ill, or diseased! No, they “TREAT” clients after becoming ill, after being sick, after having disease, this makes their profession money, but CARE at this point is quite late for the client!
What does HEALTHY mean? Health has many varied meanings, depending on “who,” you talk too! Health is about proper balances, of nutrition, added to exercise, and requires understanding of how to make predictable measured improvements in specific things!
REALIZE: Most trainer’s knowledge and programs, are based on “archaic methods,” partial facts, and are at best “handed down myths! Know, that the vast majority of programs, do little to actually improve health, physical performance, especially from perspectives like blood chemistry, blood pressure, heart rate function, and more!
REALIZE: Most all trainers, as do Doctors, have EGO’S that way surpass their abilities!
“Most are legends in their own minds!” Want proof?
BELOW, ARE JUST THE VERY MINIMUMS that need to be considered for improving health and being in shape!”
Does your trainer “actually see your dietary logs” that you write “every time” you see them?
Did your trainer actually “layout specifics” of what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat?
Now, can he explain “why” and or “what” is “important” for each part of each point?
Did your trainer actually layout specific supplements to “INSURE” that you are covered minimally, nutritionally?
Did your trainer ask you for your “resting heart rate every day” or any other specifics relating to recovery ?
Com’on, who’s kidding who here? The above are just “a few” of the facts, that need to be checked and tested to make things work for health with measured actual results!
Do you or will you, get yourself on the scale every day? Do you take specific supplements, that you know for sure are working or actually improving your performance? Do you take them on a regular basis?
Do you do your exercise on a regular set scheduled or basis, and do you know that each component is “actually being “progressive” with measurable results? So what’s really going on?
With most all programs, there is little to nothing happening (actually measurable) that right, in almost all cases!
In today’s world there is a lot of great information available to enable anyone to get fast, measurable, predictable, and repeatable results!
Why not make this “resolution” a true reality for a “restitution of you,” and your physical vehicle? This time, why not be about getting more of the actual facts, and start truly caring for yourself, the right way, with actual accountability!
Why not get “a fact-based program,” one that is truly grounded in “what works,” with actual working knowledge and accountability? It is worth the amount of time to actually research for a programs that has an established record for client results!
After all, your “health is the point,” this time do it right, yes it is just as easy to do it once, and do it right, than to be disappointed and have to keep doing it over!
In reality, no one should have to “redo their health every year,” at the first of the year, or any other time. This ridiculous idea of “a New Years Resolution” of diet and exercise should not have to be constantly repeated!
If a person is properly taught, of proper eating and exercise, there should be a “lifestyle” developed that would last! A lasting education designed specifically for you, can be a reality!
Take the time, one time, to “get the facts,” and the applications, so your health program is an applied working system of solid future habits! Knowing “what is important” and “why it needs to be done,” is essential!
You can do it (learn) “once, and you can do it right,” OR, you can keep doing it over, and over with frustration and disappointment! So “choose!”
An honest program should start and have daily weigh-in’s every day!
An honest program should take measurements every three weeks!
An honest program should take photos every three weeks!
An honest program should be “Diabetic Safe!”
This program should have blood chemistry improvements, every three weeks!
An individual should have a lower or steady low resting heart rate,(like 40-42 to 46-48maximum!
The descending heart rate should drop quickly, and have a low steady base!
Accurate body composition tests (like N.I.R.or Hydrostatic) BODY COMPOSITION Test should be done every three weeks, to prove actual lean tissue gains, and “prove” that “only fat” is being lost!
Physical test for improvements of “performance” should be done every three weeks should also be performed!
If these “MINIMUMS” are not being done, you need to ask yourself, “WHY NOT?”
Know that, “true, real, experienced, knowledgeable professionals” will have no problem doing these tests! (you should see and realize steady measured improvements, if facts are being used)
